Well... 2017 is well under way and you may be wondering what we’ve been up to!
The inside scoop
January: it’s a time where we purposely stop, take a step away from community, spend quality time with the family and let God direct us regarding our time commitments for the year. For us it’s begun the season of exchanging the old wine skin for the new one. Sounds great but it feels uncomfortable! We’re excited though as we see God strip us back to our roots and release us to pursue our passion: family, deep friendships and organic community. We want to encourage you guys to be unafraid and let God alter your plans and take you down a different road. It’s time to be pioneers of the new! He needs a creatively diverse people to be bold in their unique expressions!
Recap of 2016
What an incredible year we had! We were privileged to journey with an amazing bunch of people, start a crazy new record label... which in turn birthed two amazing EPs, see revival breaking out at Awakening Stockholm, grow in community with our local church - and teach our kids to ride their bikes!! Coming into 2017 our focus will be on tending our roots; which for us is nurtured in intimacy.

Fire Church - Kicking off the year Daniel Hagen teams up with the Fire Band to lead worship this Sunday 26/2/17 10am at Fire Church – Frankston Campus, 13-14 Hi Tech Pl, Seaford (www.firechurch.com.au). Daniel has been enjoying his break over Christmas with his family and has been working on a few new songs. So watch this space!
Awakening Event - Daniel is privileged to be leading the worship with the Fire Band at the Awakening event with guest ministers Heidi Baker and Ben Fitzgerald at the Margaret Court Arena on Thursday, 2 March. We are excited to see what God releases as we all come together in unity!

As some of you may know, Resound Collective's debut EP was birthed out of a desire to help contribute in a real and meaningful way towards the great work Rescue Australia does in supporting different indigenous mobs all throughout our country.
So, this year as we focus on the heart behind our music we’re super excited to announce that we will be teaming up with Rescue Australia in July on a worship mission style trip to Alice Springs! Our team will be stopping at a variety of places along the way, visiting indigenous camps and bringing a whole caravan load of worship wherever we go.
We want to encourage you if you have a passion for worship, dance, music, creative arts etc coupled with a desire to discover how you can connect with our first nation’s people and hear God’s heartbeat for our nation - get in contact with us at contact@resoundsounds.com.au and join in with one of our next trips! We will be running worship mission trips alongside local worship outreaches in Melbourne throughout 2017.
